Sepi..

Watched the movie last night at last! Thankful that my son went to sleep early last night.

I've been wanting to watch this movie ever since it came out. I wanted to see whether it can compete with Cinta that I totally loike.

But then..ahkak keciwa..tak feel la macam Cinta.

Maybe because ada commercial semua tuh..And I think they even cut some of the scenes..

Looks like I have to find the vcd after all..utk menghayati kata-kata..and the volume was too low..

Raya 2009

Ok, since my mood somehow has been restored, I presented the raya photos! Mind you, this is the only time that we managed to snap pictures and its only the picture of the three of us. Pictures with other family members are not taken since MIL and SILs are not yet ready. By the time they were ready, the children (my son and my niece) were throwing tantrums!

My two handsome boys, Nazif and Daddy
(time ni ok lagi pakai songkok)

Back to Routine...

At last, back at work..huwaa...! And also the usual non-Ramadan routine.

Raya stories?
Not much to be told..we don't have the much awaited raya after all..

Nazif was down with diarrhea on the First day of raya..and it lasted until three days.
So, habisla Mummy nya nak bervogue segala-mala..turned out I went to the clinic with kain batik because my kain was drenched with the purging..(ah-what-a-joy!).

Then, on second day of Raya, we went to fetch my parents at KLIA.

Then, we got the news of my grandma getting ill..so we rushed to my aunt's house..turned out grandma has an early symptom of Alzheimer..

Other than that, I really have nothing interesting to story-mory. Hehe..pictures? Later when I have the mood to transfer.

15 Months Young

From Babycenter.com:
How your toddler's growing: Your baby is growing up fast these days, walking, talking a little, and probably even using a spoon or fork when she eats. Every game she plays, whether it's pointing to different body parts when you ask her to or putting objects into containers and taking them out again, teaches her about the world around her. One of the things she's learning is that she's an autonomous entity, not just an extension of you. How can you tell if your child has grasped this concept? Watch her in front of a mirror; if she recognizes herself and isn't trying to reach out and touch the "other" baby, she gets it.

Ok now from Mummy Nazif:
  • My boy had learned to use his hand and also spoon during his feeding time. Alhamdullilah in eating department he's mighty alright!
  • Definitely very 'rajin' in terms of helping me during some house chores...e.g. sweeping, folding clothes, and sometimes cooking..hehe you know I mean..
  • He could understand simple instructions such as Please pass Mummy your clothes (the one that he ransacked after I neatly folded them), Please take this to the kitchen, Let's take a bath ( he would head for the bathroom)..and many more.
  • Of course more vocabulary like isshh.., hot for hot, chot/shoe for shoes, tatak for kakak, tar for car/lorry/van emm..what else?
As always, Mummy and Daddy totally adore you and we love you..honey bunny sugarpie!

Raya Greetings 2009

Dear Friends,

To those who travel, as usual:
BERHATI-HATI DI JALAN RAYA, INGATLAH ORANG YG TERSAYANG
To those who play with firecracker, mercun and the likes:
BERHATI-HATI MAIN BUNGA API, JANGAN SAMPAI TERBAKAR DIRI
To those who have been on diet in Ramadan and achieved their weight target:
BERHATI-HATI SEMASA MAKAN, JANGAN SAMPAI TERGADAI BERAT BODY

Iftar at Pullman Putrajaya Lakeside

This actually took place on the 'Ong' day 090909. Only now I managed to put up an entry.

We were invited for Iftar at this new hotel. After work, we fetched Nazif and went straight to Pullman. Since we were early, we managed to stroll around the hotel area. Nazif was the happiest because he could roamed around freely..

Among many places, the staircase was his favourite..aiyaya..

The verdict?

Being a new hotel, it was totally gorgeous! I mean in term of its architecture and design. The hotel was divided into several wings, where by each wings represent different sets of architecture for example Chinese, Malay (those two I can recognized, but not the other one).

Food wise? It was moderate. Lots of stalls with variety of food but in term of taste, not so much. Emm..maybe I can't enjoy food that much for I had to take turn with hubby to eat. Sometimes I had to bring Nazif outside and let him roam free because this little fella were already restless due to the loud music.

By the way this is our first time having Iftar outside from home for this Ramadan..the record have been broken!

My Beadings on Baju Raya!!
::
::

Hahaha..this is my first time doing such sewing thingy..the outcome so far not that marvellous or fantabulous or kebaboom..but oklah for a first timer. The most important thing, I've got some bling-bling on my Raya attire.

The process sgtla menguji tahap ketelitian, tahap kesabaran di bulan-bulan puasa nih..but sometimes it makes me calm..

In actual plan, there will be two baju kurung that need to do the beading, but it looks like I may have to settle with one. Insya-Allah if time permits, akan adalah baju yg akan berbeading jugak.

*Pat myself at the back, Syabas bette!

The Domestic Helper - Part Two

Yeah, I am one lucky mother.

I've got this one cute little helper to help me sweep the floor. Whenever he sees me with a broom, he would went to the kitchen to fetch the 'penyodok'. So now he associated the broom with the penyodok..smart little boy.

Which one is taller?

And again, I really really need to remain calm and patience! Oh actually there were two penyodoks in the picture..one for him and one for me!

*Could anyone tell me the right word in English for penyodok?? Amatla buntu skrg nih.

My Story of Getting Pregnant - Part VIII

Another part of the story?? Bila nak habis nih..hehehe..

Patience..patience! Hehe..

To recap the story that I have written so far, I have made these links for the reference:

Part 1 :The First Step
Part 2:The Seminal Analysis
Part 3:Meeting the Specialist
Part 4:The HSG Procedure
Part 5:The Retroverted Uterus
Part 6:The Second Opinion : Endometriosis
Part 7: The Operation

Wah..it looks like a novel oledi.

Okay..back to the story..

After the operation, which was successfully done, Alhamdulillah I recovered after sometimes. In the follow-up session, Dr H.A said usually couples that went through this condition would conceived after a month to a year duration. So he gave us a year to try, and if we were still not pregnant, he suggested for an IUI treatment.

Month 1,2,3,4,5,6..........so far luck was not on our side.

And then suddenly, my parents decided to go for umrah. Thinking that we have all the budget, so we decided to join them. I've heard a lot of stories of couple that are childless and after they went for umrah they have been blessed with children. So we thought why not we tried, maybe Allah has set us the path that we must visit HIS home in Mecca and pray.

And so, on the 21st of June 2007, we safely departed for our Umrah.

09:09:09

Its not everyday that the date such as this came. So, I'm taking this opportunity to write something for today..but the problem is..I don't have any idea..hehehe.

By the way, today marks the 19th day of Ramadhan..WOW another 9..what a coincidence! I guess its proper to ask about your raya preparation. As for me, everything was well into plan so far. Most of the things for Nazif is already settled. I guess I am more excited seeing my son wearing his baju melayu this Raya! Last year he was such an teeny-meeny, thus I did't opt to buy his baju melayu.

As for raya cookies and cakes, as usual I ordered them. So just waiting for them to be delivered. I wish I could make my own raya cookies, but the time and resources are too limited.

ps/: Humm..I bet a lot of couple would tie the knot today..hehehe..

The Light of Love

Which is the direct translation of NUR KASIH the tv series..

Just watched the series just now. Haih..I'm slowly addicted to it. I have missed some of the episodes before but I'm not sure I could khatam all the missed episode.

In today's episode, the story mostly took place in Mecca. The place which I missed dearly. Argghh..how I wish I could be there especially in this holy month of Ramadan. Speaking of which, my parents will be flying to the Holy land this coming Monday. They will be there for about two weeks and will come home by second day of Syawal.

Oh, I'll have a facial appointment tomorrow. Yeay! I love being pampared once in while. Nazif will be sent to his nursery..Daddy plak would love to get his car being polished. So definitely Awang Kenit has to be parked at the nursery!

The 'Middle Wife' Story

I was bloghopping and found this entry from here. It was so cute..!

---THE MIDDLE WIFE---

*by an Anonymous 2nd grade teacher*

I've been teaching now for about fifteen years. I have two kids myself, but the best birth story I know is the one I saw in my own second grade classroom a few years back.

When I was a kid, I loved show-and-tell. So I always have a few sessions with my students. It helps them get over shyness and usually,show-and-tell is pretty tame. Kids bring in pet turtles, model airplanes, pictures of fish they catch, stuff like that. And I never, ever place any boundaries or limitations on them. If they want to lug it in to school and talk about it, they're welcome.

Well, one day this little girl, Erica, a very bright, very outgoing kid, takes her turn and waddles up to the front of the class with a pillow stuffed under her sweater.

She holds up a snapshot of an infant. 'This is Luke, my baby brother, and I'm going to tell you about his birthday.'

'First, Mom and Dad made him as a symbol of their love, and then Dad put a seed in my Mom's stomach, and Luke grew in there. He ate for nine months through an umbrella cord.'

She's standing there with her hands on the pillow, and I'm trying not to laugh and wishing I had my camcorder with me. The kids are watching her in amazement.

'Then, about two Saturdays ago, my Mom starts saying and going, 'Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh!' Erica puts a hand behind her back and groans.

'She walked around the house for, like an hour, 'Oh, oh, oh!' (Now this kid is doing a hysterical duck walk and groaning.)

'My Dad called the middle wife. She delivers babies, but she doesn't have a sign on the car like the Domino's man. They got my Mom to lie down in bed like this.' (Then Erica lies down with her back against the wall.)

'And then, pop! My Mom had this bag of water she kept in there in case he got thirsty, and it just blew up and spilled all over the bed, like psshhheew!' (This kid has her legs spread with her little hands miming water flowing away. It was too much!)

'Then the middle wife starts saying 'push, push,' and 'breathe, breathe. They started counting, but never even got past ten. Then, all of a sudden, out comes my brother. He was covered in yucky stuff that they all said it was from Mom's play-center, (placenta) so there must be a lot of toys inside there. When he got out, the middle wife spanked him for crawling up in there.'

Then Erica stood up, took a big theatrical bow and returned to her seat. I'm sure I applauded the loudest.. Ever since then, when it's show-and-tell day, I bring my camcorder, just in case another 'Middle Wife' comes along.

What do you think? One thing, I was purely entertained this morning. Children certainly have very very creative ways of conveying their stories.

Yum..Yum..Yumm..

Haih...when its Ramadan, everything revolves around food, rite?? Hehe..so does this boy. Pantang tengok makanan!!

Usually right after I was done with cooking, its time for Nazif's dinner.

So, that's my little boy, with all the glory messy and pant-less. We placed him on the round mengkuang mat --> tempat menadah nasi-nasi yg berterabur. So we could minimize the cleaning on the floor. Its not just me that fed him, he also fed himself that's why all the mess.

I think its normal for this age that a child wants to try to do everything themselves. I tried to be patience by looking at all these mess..hehe..let him fed himself; by spoon or hand or both hands. In extreme case, even his feet would be inside the plate! The main point, he enjoyed eating and Alhamdullilah he would just eat anything that I cooked.

Its been quite sometime that I stopped making his porridge. He now prefer food that we as adult eat. So..........Mummy's got to be more 'rajin' in the kitchen now.

One Third of Ramadan Has Passed Us By

Three days of holiday was a bliss. Which holidays were not huh?

On Saturday..for the first time ever, we (me and hubs) failed to wake up for sahur..hehe..adoila..Luckily its not the first day of Ramadan. If not I surely turned into jellyfish by noon.

As usual, we went back to Seremban for the weekend. But before that we managed to drop by the shop to buy little sampin for Nazif..which looked more like a skirt than a sampin actually..hahaha..but it was so cute!

In the mean time my project is progressing well..hopefully by Raya time it would be finished.

Tick-tock, tick-tock..we had finished 1/3 of Ramadan, huh? Alhamdullilah.
