He's TWO!

Alhamdulilah, on 3rd September 2012, Naqib Imran the cheeky boy of mine turns two years!

 

 

 

Truly your are the rainbow in our life! Mummy berdoa anak Mummy membesar sebagai anak yang soleh, diberi kesihatan yang baik, di anugerah budi pekerti yang terpuji dan minda yang cergas. Untuk menjadikan semua itu, first of all must come from Mummy and Daddy with the help of Allah Taala. And yes, we are proud to have you dear son in our life and we thank Allah for these great gifts.

 

The next major milestone now is to wean you off from BF. Its challenging no doubt but I hope this is the right decision I've made. Muga dipermudahkan, Amin.

 

Naqib Turns 18 Months

He turned 18 months last Saturday, Alhamdulilah.

Pondok-pondok

One of my favourite childhood play would be playing pondok-pondok. And now my children loves playing it too..

Asal-asal, I just made the pondok/khemas the old fashioned way, using bedsheet!

Haa..hebat khemah ni, siap ada extension ke dining table..boleh baca ABC sekali..



Latest, we bought them the play tent..carik hok paling murah...

Naqib Turns 16 Months

Adik Naqib turns 16 months today! 

Wahhh..he's sort of big boy now..he played very well now e.g. arranging and keeping toys like cars, legos. He knows when I took out his clothes, it is bath time..so in short he understands simple instructions...

His favourite word definitely 'Nak..nak', for almost everything! And 'Nanak' for things that he doesn't want.

If he wants milk(boobies) it will be Nak with a pat to his chest.

If he wants milk(bottle) it will be Nak and show bottle.

When he finished eating and drinking from his bottle..also Nak..(i think he means 'Nah' actually).

Naqib also Mummy could say a 'gadget boy'. He loves remote control, phones, ipad and computers. Pretty much knows how to unlock ipad and open some of the applications. And its also the start of sibling rivalry. Dah pandai berebut toys and gadget from his brother.

Naqib the curly haired boy, people keep saying he looks like a girl..

Buat muka cheeky..

Another significant thing about this little boy of mine is I should say, he's very very very clingy to me! Yes..clingy to the max! Always wanted to be carried, followed me every where, and doesn't want other people at all. Well no 2 is daddy, then ucu and tok abah. That's it. Other than that, sorry. What ever lah adik..lucky that you doesn't weigh much. If not it would be very very tiring for Mummy to carry you.

Naqib Turns 15 Months!

Alhamdullilah, my little Naqib is now 15 months young. Altho this is rather late entry, but then its better late than never kan. He turns 15 months last Saturday..haaaiihhh...how time flies.

So, being the 15 months toddler, Naqib now has four teeth, with two more buds coming out. But despite that, he likes eating so much! His appetite I might say is much better compared to his abang now. And he's very much still the clinging boy especially when he wants his 'candu' aka the boobies. Now, when he wants his 'candu' he'll just come to me and lay down on my lap , saying 'Nak!'. And he also likes to imitate his abang playing and jumping..being the perasan big boy.

And he also pretty much a screamer and he would roll down on the floor if his wants and needs were rejected. Like in the pic..hehehe..

In short, Mummy and Daddy are very grateful with this precious gift from Allah. May Allah bless you dear.

At their best skills, ransacking toys! Tired? Definitely laa..sometimes i feel like throwing away those toys. But then its my 'investment' in the first place. So haruslah tak jadik kan. So long they can left me sometime..eg to write this post,jadikla. Ok gotta go. Another basket is about to be ransacked!!!

Naqib's First Year Photobook

I had received the finished product sometime back. Luckily I finished it before my digicam got lost. So, now both my sons had their own first year's photobook. Equal? Definitely !!

Again, I just can't believe this little baby of mine has grown so much!

Naqib turns 13 Months!

Today Naqib turns 13 Months!! Alahai why la so fast? He's now walking with license 'P'. When it comes to split level, he will get down to crawl and them get up to continue walking. So comells la seeing this little fella walks, sort of kangkang..He is so into talking cats and birds now..siap pointing lagi. 

What else..everything about him is so cute in my eyes now. He's slowly developing his personality. He would laugh heartily when playing with Nazif but sometimes he sort of berebut things with his Abang. He also likes to play peek-a-boo. And finally I managed to finish his first year photobook!

Oh I almost forget, finally he's teething! Kudos to adik!

Naqib 1st Birthday!

Alhamdullilah, my little boy Naqib turns ONE year! We just had a small celebration at mom's place with his cousins.

He's a toddler now!!

As of today, at one year and one week, Naqib has started walking! Still 'Lesen L', but he kept improving!! Some words that he uttered were 'Abah', 'Tat--Cat', 'Bird', 'Atas', and a few more that Mummy has forgotten.

Raya House Cleaning....

One of the things in the agenda before raya, is to have house cleaning..well 'lucky' me..I've got these extra helpers on top of my usual weekend maid..

Wordful Wednesday

Its break time, and I am so sleepy!! Very very sleepy indeed!

Its already Wednesday, the 10 th Ramadan, meaning it has been 1/3 of month already! Masya-Allah! So far Alhamdullilah I'm fasting, cooked almost..see here almost everyday for iftar and sahur. Terawikh , got a few nights that I missed..but most of them were done at home. I can't  really have them at Masjid with two little heros, one would definitely cry for daddy or mummy and another one would be crawling and looking for Mummy. Thanks, but I prefer to do it at home after hubby had his at the Masjid. Maybe next year we'll try to join jemaah in Masjid.

Went back to Seremban last weekend to have iftar with family. Me and little sis managed to bake our first batch of chocolate chip cookies, which I doubt could last for hari raya. As of on Sunday, the amount that left were half from what we had baked. I think we need another batch for Hari Raya, Insya-Allah.

Also, we finally trimmed Naqib's curls!! Oh dear no picture were taken during the process. But compared to Nazif, Naqib was wayyyyy cooperative in trimming hairs. Or daddy has developed better skill? Well whatever it is, Naqib looks more handsome and and 'boyish' than before. I hope people will not get confuse of his gender anymore.

Whoaa...still feeling sleepy. I hope you don't fall asleep as you're reading this..I better take my 5-mins beauty nap..

Naqib Turns 11 Months

My Darling Naqib is now 11 months! Oh dear..Masya-Allah..this coming raya season he'll turn ONE!

His hair's curl has become more prominent now, that people usually mistaken him as a girl! Dahla a bit fair compared to his big brother, lagi lah...so Daddy we really need to cut his curls before raya,ok?

On his physical side, Naqib now has started cruising, has crawled all on fours. He also has found his way to the staircase..which reminds me that we need to put up again the safety gate.At times, he can stand on his own just for a few secs..oh Mummy can't wait to see you walking!!

Despite being toothless, his appetite is good. His favourite person is any one who have food..look easy to tackle eh..WRONG!! He still pretty much the clingy boy to his Mummy! And this has its pro and cons, hehe..

Naqib Turns 10 Months

Yesterday, Naqib turns 10 months! Alhamdullilah...in 2 months time my baby will be a toddler!

Mummy's boy

As of today, he already can crawl all on his fours, but he still prefer to do combat crawl when he wanted to move faster, i.e chasing Mummy to the kitchen, back and fro. And he also managed to pull himself up too and started to climb and stand!

He is very much a mummy's boy..hehehe..thus there is still the separation anxiety phase. Despite his small frame, Alhamdulilah he got one big appetite. He also babbles a lot, which is so cute!

After a Week

Oh dear, its been a week since my last post..

I have been busy on the work front..endless meeting and loads of documents to be prepared. *Kesat peluh*. And still have a long waiting list of things to be completed...Challenge!!

On the family side, my grandma is still admitted in the hospital. There has been zero progress on her health..The doctors were still calculating her health risk for them to operate on her femur bone. All that we can do now is wait and pray for her comfort.

Naqib Turns 9 Months

Alhamdullilah, my cheeky little boy turns 9 months today.

Reaching his 9 months milestones Naqib is able to:

1. Sit without support! 

2. Still combat style crawling instead of on all fours. Sometimes he managed to lift his little bump but it has been twice he 'tersembam'!

3. Said 'mmama' (mummy), 'abah'(either daddy or abang), babbles 'tas,tas', 'nanak'..

4. Have been in separation anxiety phase. Can't simply leave him, the moment I stand up he would wailed!

5. Have been aware of people now. Sending him to school is not that easy because he would turn his body and grab me when he sees his babysitter (Usually happens on Monday).

 In 3 months time, he'll turn 1 year! Gosh!

Naqib Turns 8 Months

Masya -Allah..

Dah besar anak Mummy yang kecik ni..It feels like just yesterday that you started your solid food..and now whaddaya-know..it has been 2 months already since that day.

You have started to get mobile now. Not yet crawling on fours, but more to combat style or 'menyusur' but in reverse gear. But last night you have started to move forward. So now I always had to double check your position from time to time whenever I'm in the kitchen because you certainly will find your way under the day bed!

Your separation anxiety has started too. Asyik nak berkepit je kejenya, eh? You will scream on top of your lungs when I had to put you down. And when you are content, you babbles a lot..hehe. It gave me such a joy whenever you laughed and giggled when your brother teased and played with you. You clapped when you heard pok amai amai song and open-close your palm when you heard 'cak cekur' song..

Mummy loves you mucho!
