ME Time Before Delivery

My pregnancy journey is coming to an end tomorrow! I will be having a plan c-sect tomorrow afternoon. at PMC.(due to medical reason)..dengan kata lain pegi menyerah diri..hehe..

And now, I'm ALL ALONE at home..having my own ME time for the last time as the mummy of ONE. Tomorrow the status would be the Mummy to TWO soldiers!! Alhamdulillah, rezeki dari Allah. Never thought I would be blessed with another child in shorter time after Nazif. So, what I did today? Sleeping, browsing, watching tv, doing some laundry, folding clothes and had a longggg shower! Camera has been changed, and I plan to double check items in the hospital bags.


Please pray for our safety for tomorrow's delivery, OK? Enjoy the rest of Ramadhan and Maaf Zahir dan Batin.

Weekend

I've got a long weekend if I considered my MC from last Thursday.

Quite a number of things that have been accomplished in my wishlist:

1. Hubby had successfully installed the drawer for the baby. And rearrange the furniture in the downstairs room.    If, there's a time, I would like to buy new carpet and curtain..sempat ke?
2. Managed to clean and cut our backyard grass. By outsourcing!
3. I finally bought my confinement set, which at last I remain true to NR. And also minyak telon for the baby and krim halia for mummy.
4. Bought raya shoes for Nazif.
5. Finished another story book, Princess by Jean Sasson.

On Saturday, we had iftar at aunt's house! Yeay..lots of food and great company.

Another important thing that i need to do is to pack Nazif and hubby's clothes for raya. Adeh..adeh..

36 weeks and Counting!!

I'm counting my days to the delivery date! Mak dah tak larat you...

Yesterday's check up was ok, though I lost a kilo! This may due to my fasting.  But Alhamdullilah the baby is doing just fine and growing at usual rate..but the head was far from the birth tunnel..huhuhu..

The doctor prescribed me with MC today. I thought of sending Nazif to the nursery and had my rest at home. But it looks like I had to forget about it. This boy was crying like mad ( as if he knows that I'm going to be at home) and refused to go to scooll.. tu tgh syok tgk DVD upin ipin..

Oh, its Friday! yeay..have a nice weekend!

Random Tales

• I have finally packed or semi-packed my hospital bag. Mummy and baby dah settle, the daddy's part is yet to complete..since hubby will be the one to accompany me in the hospital, thus, I have to pack for him too.
• Its already the seventh day of Ramadhan! Sad to say, I had missed one day of fasting due to missed sahur. Somehow the alarm was not properly set on that day, huhu..I know I can't make it a day without sahur, thus I decided not to fast.
• My baby gets extremely active during Ramadan! And I thought he would be the other way round! Strong baby or he's mad for the lack of food? Hehehe...I'd like to think the positive one, this is a strong baby!
• Weekend was spent at Seremban, as usual to break fast with family. My grandparents, auntie and cousins were there too and we had a blast iftar!
  

Almost A Week

Wow, its been almost a week that I have not posted anything. Last week, I had a training, thus the lack of entry..hehe..alasan...

Lusa, it already Ramadan! It means, my due date is getting nearer..! Wow, I can't believe this pregnancy has almost reached its end. Some part I'm feeling relieved, but on the other, quite sad. Relieved, because I'm so easily tired now and my body ached almost everywhere. Sad, because there'll be no more kicks and turns inside my tummy, which I really like. Believe me, you'll soon forget how it feels like to have a baby inside you. 

As for Ramadan preparation, last weekend I've prepared some cooking items like blended onion and garlic and  pre-cooked sambal paste. Hopefully I'm strong enough to cook simple dish, if not just buy lah. And hopefully I am strong enough to fast, insya-Allah. 

Back to Work

After two days of MC, I'm now back to work...Adeh..seriously with my condition now, staying home is luxury!!

In a few days time, Ramadan is approaching. I certainly hope I can fast like yesteryears..ye lah, since I'm prone to gastric attack during this pregnancy..who knows the holy month will have its own hikmah,  no gastric during Ramadan! Oh please..please please let me have the strength and the health to fast this year!

Nesting Mode

I really think my nesting mode has started to kick in since last two weekends..I mean a huge one..Last weekend was spent mostly on clearing unused stuffs and basic cleaning. 

So, me and hubby managed to clear old bills, old books,documents, newpapers and magazines. Managed to sell them off to recycle person and still there's more, which I'll wait for next round. And then I managed to store some Nazif's clothes which no longer fits, and also put aside my old clothes ( which some are dated back to 10 years back) to give them away.

Some info about Nesting Instinct/ Mode from Parenting Weekly:

Around the fifth month of pregnancy, the "nesting" instinct can set in. This is an uncontrollable urge to clean one's house brought on by a desire to prepare a nest for the new baby, to tie up loose ends of old projects and to organize your world.

Females of the animal kingdom are all equipped with this same need. It is a primal instinct. Just as you see birds making their nests, mothers-to-be do exactly the same thing. The act of nesting puts you in control and gives a sense of accomplishment toward birth. You may become a homebody and want to retreat into the comfort of home and familiar company, like a brooding hen. The nesting urge can also be seen as a sign of the onset of labor when it occurs close to 40 weeks of pregnancy.

Nesting brings about some unique and seemingly irrational behaviors in pregnant women and all of them experience it differently. Women have reported throwing away perfectly good sheets and towels because they felt the strong need to have "brand new, clean" sheets and towels in their home. They have also reported doing things like taking apart the knobs on kitchen cupboards, just so they could disinfect the screws attached to the knobs. Women have discussed taking on cleaning their entire house, armed with a toothbrush ( I mopped/sweep with cloth..haha) . There seems to be no end to the lengths a nesting mother will go to prepare for her upcoming arrival.

This unusual burst of energy is responsible for women ironing anything in the house that couldn't out run them. Being preoccupied with ant killing, squishing them one at a time for weeks on end. Packing and unpacking the labor bag 50 times. Cleaning the kitchen cupboards and organizing everything by size to the point that you make sure the silverware patterns match when it's stacked in the cutlery drawer. Sorting the baby's clothes over and over again is a favorite theme. Taking them out of the drawers and re-folding them, putting them away and doing it over and over again. Nesting will provide interesting stories for years to come.

Last time, I already put up the list of things for baby no 2..

* Breast Pump (My medela mini-E still in good condition. But I'm thinking of having a dual-pump this time, hopefully Medela FS like my sister is using, sungguh menarik!)  Alhamdulilah, I managed to order one with best deal..waiting for the arrival !!

* Breastmilk Storage Containers / Bags ( Storage-not yet, Bag- Check!)

*Bedding Co-ordinates (Cot Bumpers, Fitted Sheets, Comforters, Pillow &Bolsters) - Am thinking of getting one new set for the baby, except for the cot bumper. Kesian nak pakai yg abang punya..

* Bath Tub ( Need to get one, last time Nazif used his cousin's)

* Bath Seat / Bath Bed / Bath Net ( Need to get one, permintaan TokMama)

* Nursery Bag With Foldable Changing Mat (Emmm..nak yg baru boleh?)

So, it looks like a lot have been slashed..I even topped up some other items like baby's clothing, towels and breast pad.

Over the weekend, I managed to sort out Nazif's old clothing and washed them..Yeay me!

This is only one-third of the hand-me-down..perghh..

I was totally bonked out after the session. And I thought this boy too..because he kept yawning and yawning at the end of the session. Turned out it was false alarmed! He slept for a while in the car, but as soon as we reached home he was totally recharged and did not sleep at all!! But he looked very sleepy indeed, his eyes were half shut and droopy, but no he did not sleep!

Third Trimester

I'm officially in my 3rd trimester today!

Which left me more or less about 10 weeks more if this baby decides to pop out in 38 weeks, like his big brother.

Oh, should I on my panic button? BTW, have a happy weekend! 

Its Another Birdie!

After being shy for almost 2 months, my baby finally show the long awaited answer!

Its going to be a BOY! 

Insya-Allah and Alhamdullilah. It looks like Nazif's is having his own playmate soon! And that makes Mummy the rose among the thorns, walla..and my parents and parents-in-law will receive their 4th soldier for their grandchild!

Now Mummy can prepare the your stuff in peace. Hehe..it means I could use most of Nazif clothing, but still, jiwaku still meronta utk shopping jugak..

Today is the Day!

Its the start of the match tonight ! South Africa vs Mexico..ceh..yoyo ooo ajer..

And then I realized another thing. Its my pregnancy ticker! Instead of showing three digits to the due date, it has now reduced to TWO digits--98 days.!! Oh sedikit panik di situ..

Preparation wise, hummm..I can safely say 10%?? Huhu..very little huh? Sian baby..so far you only have 2-pairs of new clothes and binder. And oh a drawer which has not yet been installed. Seriously my mind is kinda set not to buy beria2 as long as I don't know the gender. Well to be on the safe side I have to choose clothing that could suit both genders, right? Sungguh tak byk choice for unisex!

But for item like stroller and car seat, definitely we are using what we bought for Nazif before. They are still in good conditions and the color has been picked to suit both gender...ni mmg dah pikir dari dulu..moreover those thing takler fully utilized by yr big brother,hehe..

Note: Mak-mak zaman sekarang, everything nak coordinate color according to gender..hehehe..alasan je tuh.

 

Cramp!

I had my first leg cramp last night! For this pregnancy lah..Ouuhh..hate it! 

And sometimes my 'urat punggung' also kinda 'sentap'. Especially if I lay down on hard surface..I think age really makes a lot of difference when you are pregnant, now that I'm in 3-series group..hehe..

Third Time In A Row

I've been attacked with gastric since I'm pregnant this time.

Adoilaaa..its painful! And this time its the worst! I mean the pain. Minum air pun dah mengundang sakit perut. How mehh...please don't tell me its pembawakan budak..huhuhu..

ps: I'm so bored of my current blog layout. Tapi..tapi..malasnya nak tukar..! 

Big B and Babies

Its Friday! Alhamdulillah.

Happy news again..wah asyik2 happy news je kan..life's good, so kenalah thankful kan.

First, the big B was in yesterday..yeah!Again, Alhamdulilah, tho the amount yg LHDN dpt boleh tahan BYKKK..a bit stress there..

Second, I've became an auntie again. Yes, my dear sister Ayni has safely delivered a baby boy yesterday , weigh 2.5 kg ( so cute and tiny maaa)..at Kelana Jaya Medical Center. So Nazif is no longer the baby in my side of family..hehehe..

The latest grandchild of Tok Abah & Tok Mama

As of now, the baby has no official name yet. So we only address him as Muhammad for the time being because that's gonna be his first name.

Thirdly, today marks my 20th week into the pregnancy. Which means, I'm half way already to the big day..well if the baby decides to pop out in the 40 weeks. But looking at history it might be earlier. Amazingly during my last check up, I did not put on any weight from the previous one , but luckily the baby is growing very well and I pray it will continue doing so. The kicks and turns are becoming more frequent now. Only one thing that bothers me now is the pain on my left side of my tummy which is the result of being seated for too long. This only happens on weekdays mind you..and based on doctor, it was due to my operation scar ( the appendix one..). 

Thus I'm considering to buy the support belt to reduce this pain. Anybody here have tried this during your pregnancy?

Sakit..

I'm not feeling well today..My head feels heavy and I've got a little bit of temperature. Ni kes salah makan lagi lah kot...Sensitive sungguh perut peknen kali nih..

Hope I will be back to normal self by tomorrow. My company is having Family Day and I wish I'll have my lucky stars tomorrow for the Lucky Draw prizes!

I'm now at the stage where,

I'M HUNGRY ALL THE TIME

Uhuhu..definitely this is 'dangerous' to my weight. During last check-up, I gained almost 2 kgs..that's considered a lot if compared to my 'tak-lalu-makan' stage.  And now that I always wanted to munch all the time..I just don't want to imagine the figures for next month's check up.

So hopefully to avoid extreme weight gained, for my munch2 thingy now I will try to stick to fruits, dates, dried apricots and the likes. Though I'm truly longed for chocolates,cakes and ice cream..hehehe.haaa..kan dangerous food tu??.

 

Friday's Rambling

• Lately my posting certainly lacks of pictures..sungguh tak meriahkan...I don't know why..even pictures of Nazif pun dah jarang ambik...when I'm on the mood, my son did not cooperate well..he's at the stage whenever he saw me with a camera or my phone to snap pictures, he would be running straight to me! And he the one 'busybody' to click the camera. Then the result of course la tah hape-hape punya gambar daaa...

•  Tomorrow I'm having another monthly check-up with my obgyn. Can't wait, can't wait!. I really really think..not just my imagination, that I've started to feel those fluttering sensation in my tummy. I THINK I can feel this little muchkin moving already! Its quite early if compared to Nazif, I only started to feel him when I was around 17 weeks.

• When we asked Nazif about the baby, he would point to himself and said 'Abam' meaning 'Abang', followed with cheeky smiles.. Hehe..he's started to grasp the idea slowly..smart boy Abam! 

•  Tomorrow is Earth Hour 2010! We'll see how it goes..is it better than last year?

About his son turning 21 months on Wednesday...yer sindrom pelupa sudah melanda...only realized bout it when I carefully looked at the ticker.

My Pregnancy 
Today I'm turning into 14 weeks, which is considered entering into second trimester. SUPPOSED to be honeymoon time, but masih tak menampakkan tanda2 mabuk akan akan hilang. Another thing that I really don't like is my attire now..I can hardly get into my jeans or pants but I'm too big for maternity pants..get it? Dlm dilema gitu..
  

Book Fair

The KL International Book Fair starts today! The event will end on 28 March. I really wish this time I could make it! Maybe next week..dear hubby if you read this, jom pegi, nak??
