The Red Saga!

I had a big scare yesterday.
Well it went like this:

I just fetched my children from their nursery. While I was strapping adik to his car seat, Nazif said,

"Mummy, Ajif letak toy dalam hidung.."

Whoa..!! I'm somewhat panic..and I told him I 'd like to see it.

Definitely, there was a red object definitely not blood, stucked high inside his nose. So, I quickly made a decision to go to the nearest clinic and Nazif started to cry already...

I kept consoling him, the doctor will take out the thing from his nose, so be a good boy, ok!

So, after the registration we waited for the doctor. Nazif by this time has already stop crying and took some toys to play. Suddenly..

'Haacchummmmm'....and the red thing flew out of his nose! Masya-Allah and Alhamdullilah..!!

Its the 'biji saga' y'oolsss!!

After a Week

Oh dear, its been a week since my last post..

I have been busy on the work front..endless meeting and loads of documents to be prepared. *Kesat peluh*. And still have a long waiting list of things to be completed...Challenge!!

On the family side, my grandma is still admitted in the hospital. There has been zero progress on her health..The doctors were still calculating her health risk for them to operate on her femur bone. All that we can do now is wait and pray for her comfort.

I'll leave you with these two munchkins actions; which were taken from my sis blog..*Punyala tak sempat nak ambik gamba anak sendiri nowadays*..

Father's Day

I hope its not too late to wish Father's Day to all daddies out there. And especially to my dearest Hubby, Abah and Abah-in-Law.

We don't really celebrated it anyway, and it is just coincidence, last weekend my FIL treated us at Ikan Bakar Sabak Awor back in Muar...its yummylicious!

But then, something bad happen yesterday to my grandma. She fall down and broke her femur (thigh bone). This may cause her not being able to walk anymore. So, please pray for her recovery.

Nazif is THREE!

My Dearest Son Nazif,

Today you turned three years! Three years, dear and where have all the time gone? Look how tiny you are when I first hold you in my arms, my miracle, my first born.

But now, it take all my strength just to carry you. But I love it when you insist me to carry you, the way you hold me tight and put your head on my shoulder. I feel needed. Yes, I still need that assurance.

Today, look at you my young man. You talk and tell stories like an adult, although when you talk too fast you tend to stutter a bit. Your facial expressions that comes when you tell stories never ceases to amaze me. *Sigh*. I hope we can still carry on this conversation when you grow up. I hope I am the one you can count on to, your best companion when you grow older.

You pretty much still obsess with Ultraman figure. This one subject matter can throw you into tantrums. Though at times, I felt I can't tolerate your tantrums and I choose to ignore you. But how I can stay mad for long when you came and say Sorry, and give me your hug.

And now with you being the big brother, you have become more independent, more loving and you have learn to tolerate. You like to tickle your brother and both of you will laugh sweetly when you did that.

My heart burst whenever you tell your friends ' Tu Mummy Ajip..tu daddy Ajip' whenever I picked you up from your nursery. And I believed your Daddy felt that way too.

So dear, Happy Birthday to you..the day three years ago that when I first hold this sacred title. I pray, may your life will always be blessed, granted with rezeki and may you grow to be a Muslim that is responsible to your family, friends and all the people around you.

Bulging Tummy?

It has been more than 9 months after I delivered my baby. And to date, I still got a few more kilos to shed in order to get back my pre-pregnancy weight. And on top of that, the most problematic area would be my bulging tummy..*haih*. What a sad sight..Once I got a question from an old male colleague;

"Bila due?"

Pang! I felt like someone slapped my face. Did my tummy look so obvious? Or because the blouse I'm wearing? Its nursing blouse cum pregnancy blouse, which after that day, I swore to never wear it again!!

And as if an answer to this, what better way to overcome this than having this awesome offer? Its Marie France Bodyline Anniversary and they are offering tummy reduction therapy for a price of RM58!

Taman Tamadun Islam

I did tell you about our impromptu decision to visit this place, Taman Tamadun Islam. It is situated in Pulau Wan Man Kuala Terengganu ( well its not an island though, just a place macam Pulau Tikus in Penang).

Entrance Fee
The entrance fee was RM 25 for Adults, RM 20 for Senior Citizen(60 and above) and RM 15 for children ( Age 6 and above). With that fee, you will be given a Passport ( more like a handbook) bearing the pre-stamped of the monuments in the park. You will also be given RM 3 coupon for Cafe and RM 2 coupon for Souvenir Shop.

Attractions
There are a total of 22 monuments ( that's the latest figure), the latest one being the Masjid Jamek in Singapore (Top-left in picture below) and the smallest replica so far.

From Top-Left: Masjid Jamek-Singapore, Aleppo Citadel-Syria, Qirawan Mosque-Tunisia, Kalyani Minaret-Uzbekistan, The Buggy,Masjidil Nabawi-Medina, Masjidil Haram-Mecca,

And among these 22 monuments, five of them come with what should I say an Interactive Showcase (they have a small theater and artifacts display of the place); Masjid Negara, Taj Mahal, Al-Hamra, Dome of The Rock and Masjidil Haram (which were closed temporarily for 3-D upgrade). For the Dome of the Rock, you can even went inside the monument to have the look and feel, Masya-Allah.

From Top-Left : Sultan Omar Ali Mosque-Brunei, Xian Mosque-China, Taj Mahal-India, Dome of the Rock-Palestin, Great Mosque Samarra-Iran, Al-Hambra, Sulaeyman Mosque-Turkey &  Kul-Sharif Mosque-Russia

For more information for the rest of monuments, you can try go to this link.

Facilities
To go around the park, which is quite huge I might say, you can opt for bicycles, long tram or buggy ride. And for us, we rent the buggy which comes with a dedicated tour guide ( who was really2 informative by the way) for the cost of RM 55. Yeah quite costly, but it is convenient for us instead of taking the long tram which had dedicated time. But definitely worth it when you had the tour guide which was very good at her job.

Overall?
Its quite fun I might say and definitely it suits the term edutainment park.Even my mom who was pretty skeptical and reluctant at first thoroughly enjoyed the experience.  For me, most of it was viewed from afar, one the weather was hot and I've got a baby to tend to. Until at one time I had to feed him during in the theater ( luckily it was dark).

Obedient Wives Club

I have only come to realize about Malaysia's Obedient Wives Club a few days back. But only the title..at first I thought it was something like Stepford Wives thingy. But walla..it turns out a bit differently and its rather shocking I might say. Its main concern is to teach wives to be submissive to their husbands sexual needs.

Something from the co-founders of the club
"What is wrong with being a whore ... to your husband?"
Wow..what a term to use...they said by being that way, they will keep their husbands happy, which will lead to the protection of family institution and eventually can curb the social ills. Do you agree?

Well marriage is not about sex only. Two mature adults who have taken their vows on marriage must realized, marriage comes with other responsibilities too, besides that.

One thing I agree, has been said by this fellow man:
One Muslim man, Amirul Aftar, wrote: "I do not want a wife to submit to my every beck and call. I want a wife who understands me ... we are not your masters, we are your equal."
Source : Here

Novel : Something Blue by Emily Griffin

This is my latest, finished read. I managed to do a marathon of finishing it (after a few weeks reading it) last weekend when the kids and their daddy had their afternoon nap.

Picture googled

So, this is the synopsis of the book:
Thirty years old, successful and stunning, Darcy Rhone used to think that 'being down and out' meant not finding a size four at the Barney's Warehouse Sale. Now she is pregnant, unmarried and recovering from a broken engagement to Dex and the betrayal of her ex-best friend Rachel, who stole Dex's affections. For the first time in her life, she is completely alone. Frantically casting around for help, she calls upon Ethan, an old high school friend, and convinces him to let her stay with him in London for a few weeks to get her act together. Little does she know what she's in for when she boards the plane to cross the Atlantic, but as weeks turn into months, Darcy makes a surprising discovery. Preparing for motherhood and settling into a new career, she builds herself a new life from scratch, finally finding romance - in the most unexpected place ...

After reading, it then I realized it is the sequel for Something Borrowed which now has been turned into the movie. So, its kinda cool because I can easily imagine Kate Hudson as Darcy ( but different hair color). About the whole book, this is my first time reading from Emily Griffin and I say it would just the same as other chic lits I've read before. Nothing too mind blowing, and I found that Darcy and Becky (Shopaholic) were of similar character.

And now, I'm onto my next book!

Naqib Turns 9 Months

Alhamdullilah, my cheeky little boy turns 9 months today.

Reaching his 9 months milestones Naqib is able to:

1. Sit without support!
2. Still combat style crawling instead of on all fours. Sometimes he managed to lift his little bump but it has been twice he 'tersembam'!
3. Said 'mmama' (mummy), 'abah'(either daddy or abang), babbles 'tas, tas', 'nanak'..
4. Have been in separation anxiety phase. Can't simply leave him, the moment I stand up he would wailed!
5. Have been aware of people now. Sending him to school is not that easy because he would turn his body and grab me when he sees his babysitter (Usually happens on Monday).

In 3 months time, he'll turn 1 year! Gosh!

Cuti-cuti Kuala Terengganu

Its been a week since my last post! Wow..simply taking a break from the net..hehe..

We got back from the East Coast last Monday, and till today the tired feeling was still there. Its HOT in KT! But we did enjoy ourselves. There's a lot of changes around KT town since we last came two years back. The town got more busy as it was the school holiday and we were stuck in jam on the way to a wedding. Can you imagine? And we were considered 'murah rezeki' while been there because there's always someone ( my parents friend) who treated us for meals.

We also managed to visit Taman Tamadun Islam even though its scorching hot and my boys were in their pj's. Hahaha..actually this is an impromptu decision. Right after breakfast, we rode around the town and all the way to Masjid Kristal. Konon-konon nak round saja..but then when we arrived at Masjid kristal, TTI is already opened and we were among the earliest visitor there!

Picture? Will come later if I have the time. Not much were taken because its more to 'jalan-jalan balik kampung', hehehe...

So what's up with the world?
I know there will be new electricity tariff for us. Which means, more saving measure must be taken into account. Work is waiting when I got back to the office, but its OK.
